This book holds the reader's attention throughout it's entirety. I could not put it down. If you want a book that will grab your attention and hold on, you must read this book. Nothing about the story was predictable. With each page turned there was a surprise. I can't wait to read more of Vic Kerry's work.

The Children of Lot is creepy, disturbing, and even humorous at times. The author's descriptions made me feel as though I was being pursued by the Hassles. This is a great read and I look forward to more from this author.
A gripping story, very well told. Vic Kerry captures the best and worst of rural Alabama in his marvelous storytelling.
This debut novel has wonderfully developed characters whose words and actions pull you in from the beginning. The suspense builds, and the twists, turns and surprises building to the story's conclusion made for a true page-turner. I highly recommend "Children of Lot" for adult readers who think a little gore and horror never hurt anyone, and I look forward to Vic Kerry's next novel.
